Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Inspect kitchens and food service areas. Order supplies and equipment. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit. Store beverage and food products. Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Short order cooking and food preparation. Equipment and machinery experience: Deep fryer. Conventional oven. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.- LocationScarborough, ON
