Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Instruct apprentices. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate.
