*Responsibilities:*
* Mixing and application of primers and top coating to obtain desired colour and consistency
* Apply epoxy primers and polyurethane coatings to all component parts as per production schedule
* Mix epoxy primers and polyurethanes coatings to obtain desired color and consistency
* Examine all parts and components before and after paint and complete Quality Assurance reports as per procedure
* Mix and apply paint to industrial equipment and structures using various application methods (spray, brush, roller)
* Ensure proper coverage and finish quality
* Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
* Maintain painting equipment and tools
*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience as an industrial painter or similar role preferred
* Experience painting with pressure pots: 3 years (preferred)
* Experience painting steel industrial equipment using PPG and Endura Paint: 3 years (preferred)
* License/Certification: Red Seal Certification (preferred)
* Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and application techniques
* Familiarity with surface preparation methods and materials
* Experience with painting large-scale equipment and structures
*Skills:*
* Proficiency in using hand tools for surface preparation and painting tasks
* Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint quantities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.23-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Flexible Language Requirement:
* English not required
Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Monday to Friday
* Overtime
* Weekends as needed
Experience:
* industrial painting: 1 year (preferred)
