*WE ARE RECRUITING FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT.*
Madrone Environmental Services is a growing mid-size environmental consulting practice based in British Columbia. Our head office is located on Vancouver Island in the Cowichan Valley. At the heart of Madrone are our people. Our team of professionals include Agrologists, Biologists, Engineers, Foresters, Geoscientists, Environmental Scientists and GIS Analysists. We provide a variety of consulting services focused on the environmental aspects of land management. *Role of Administrative Assistant:*
The Assistant supports the delivery of the full administrative functions of the organization that supports the daily operations of our company.

Your role will entail providing administrative support to staff on various request such as (but not limited to):
· editing and formatting of professional documents and reports,
· providing administrative support to staff on various request such as (but not limited to) ordering supplies and equipment, answering the phones to project management systems,
· providing recommendations on improving systems,
· documenting and implementing processes.
· supporting staff in travel arrangements,
· Maintaining a clean, tidy and organized office environment,
· data entry duties,
· preparing internal process documents,
· bookkeeping support.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
· Formal training in an administrative capacity is considered an asset.
· Proficiency in MS Office software, Database Systems and Adobe.
· Attention to detail, above average analytical and organizational skills.
· Self-motivated, pro-active and self-directed.
· Client minded with a customer service background.
· Keen eye for details.
· Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50-$27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
