Composite Panel Technologies (CPT) is looking to add a new position for an innovative *Manufacturing Engineer *to the team. CPT is a leading producer of laminated composite panels and panel systems, and has been manufacturing in Kelowna for over 20 years.
The Manufacturing Engineerwill be working closely with production, purchasing, sales and engineering in a collaborative work environment. This role will support production to resolve any issues and to improve efficiency as needed to meet company goals and objectives.
This is a permanent full-time position.

*Job Responsibilities:*
* Generate documentation to be used by manufacturing to affectively produce quality products that meets customer expectations.
* Take part in design review, project and production meetings as needed.
* Develop new production tools, jigs and fixtures as needed and maintain existing.
* Maintain and develop production processes, procedures and assembly instructions.
* Generate work orders.
* Production planning and coordination.
* Inventory management.
* Production equipment maintenance management.
* Program and operate 2.5-axis CNC router machines.
*Experience and Education:*
* Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
* Previous experience with laminated composite panel technology processes is an asset.
* Extensive knowledge and proficient with CAD/CAM software is required. (SolidWorks and GibbsCAM preferred)
* Manufacturing and Inventory Management Software experience preferred.
* Experience in lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
* General knowledge of Metal fabrication techniques is required.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
