Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. Estimate costs and materials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Painter and Decorator Trade Certification. Working at heights training. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Brush painting. Patterned rollers. Roller painting. Testing equipment experience: Thermometers. Surface preparation experience: Drywall taping/patching. Water/hydroblasting. Sandblasters. Coating/application specialization: Multi-color finishes. Urethanes. Paint spraying. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination.
