Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Warehouse. Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre. Rural area. Tasks: Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Prepare and submit reports. Train workers in duties and policies. Arrange training for staff. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Organize and maintain inventory. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders. Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies. Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units. Perform general office duties. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Keep track of shipments. Organize warehouse and work areas. Provide customer service. MS Office. Track and complete work orders. Compile orders and instructions received from customers. Supervision: 3-4 people. Staff in various areas of responsibility. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. Computer and technology knowledge: Inventory control software. MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS Word. MS Windows. Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control. Production. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Handling heavy loads.
