NOV is seeking a Millwright to join our team in Leduc, AB. The successful candidate will perform a variety of Millwright tasks such as assembly and installation of equipment. You will ensure that the parts have been correctly manufactured and are assembled and installed properly within each component in accordance with Company policies.
_*We are accepting applications from those who have apprenticeship status or have obtained their Journeyperson ticket.*_
*Essential Job Responsibilities:*
* Test, tear down, rebuild, and re-testing various kinds of pumps, centrifuges and gearboxes;
* Responsible for investigating and troubleshooting equipment, repairing when required and measuring bearing fits;
* Re-assembling, balancing, and aligning equipment appropriately;
* Moving material including the use of overhead cranes;
* Grind, drill, cut, clamp, disassemble / assemble, and prepare components;
* Mechanical system installation and troubleshooting;
* Other duties as assigned.
*Qualification Requirements *_*(Minimum Education and Experience)*_*:*
* High School Diploma or GED required;
* Apprenticeship status or Journeyperson Millwright certification required;
* 3 ? 5 years? experience preferred;
* Overhead Crane Course is an asset, but will train in house if necessary;
* Knowledge and experience with mechanical work required;
* Hydraulic and centrifuge experience is considered an asset.
*Technical Requirements (*_*Software or Program Knowledge Needed*_*):*
* Knowledge of hand tools & basic Manual machines.

*HSE Requirements *_*(Training and Physical Requirements):*_
* Shop environment orientation (exits, fire extinguishers, first aid & eyewash stations, spill kits, propane storage) and yard environment (building locations, processes);
* Squatting, bending, reaching, and walking (further details to be reviewed on JHA);
* PPE training for possible noise exposure, mists/vapors, gloves, safety glasses and steel toed boots;
* NOV in-house forklift training if required;
* WHMIS training;
* NOV in-house Overhead/Jib crane training;
* Hand & Power tool safety training.
