Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions. Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families. Deliver health education programs. Deliver immunization programs. Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Engage in research activities related to nursing. Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment. Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice. Provide nursing care. Administer medications and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients. Perform administrative tasks. Prescribe and administer medications and treatments. Maintain accurate records. Maintain filing system. Clean and maintain equipment. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children. Ensure safety procedures are followed. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work. Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Overtime required. Work under pressure.
