Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Programs dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Work setting: Various locations. Swimming pool/centre. Camp. Associations and non profit organizations. Persons with an intellectual disability. Tasks: Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts. Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs. Provide lifestyle awareness information. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. Provide supportive counselling and life skills programming. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Student status: Full time enrollment. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Public transportation is not available. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?. Are you currently a student?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
