The project accountant is responsible for the accounts payable, billing and budget review on a variety of construction projects up to $10M in value.
*Job Duties:*
* Creation of monthly invoices in accordance with the contractual requirements of the project. This will include lump-sum, construction management and time & material billings.
* Manage AR and project cash flow
* Entry and payment of subcontractor progress billings and material invoices
* Assistance with the weekly cheque run
* Project budget and forecast review, including budget entry, cost review, variance analysis and forecasting
* Review of labour reports to ensure accurate project costing
In addition to project accounting, additional duties will be assigned from time to time. These may include (but are not limited to):
* Monthly bank and company credit card reconciliations
* Assistance with financial statement preparation
* Insurance Allocation and Fixed Asset Schedules
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
