Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Measuring tools: Micrometers. Callipers. Calibre. Gauges. Verniers. Equipment and machinery experience: Boring machines. Drill presses. Milling machines. Sawing machine. Surface grinders. Tapping machines. Tool grinders. Computer-aided design (CAD). Specialization or experience: Green economy sector. Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
