<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>The Technical Sales Supervisor is responsible for coaching and managing a team of sales representatives to sell technical products and services and be able to meet all the selling objectives. Technical sales supervisors participate in contract negotiations and partner up with internal technical and marketing teams to utilize customer insights and contribute to the product plan. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. They are employed by establishments that produce or provide technical goods and services, such as pharmaceutical companies, industrial equipment manufacturing companies, computer services firms, engineering firms and hydroelectric companies, or they may be self-employed technical sales specialists/agents who contract their services to other companies.</p><p><br /><strong>Job Duties:</strong><br />- Identify and seek potential clients<br />- Supervise the activities of other technical staff and sales specialists.<br />- Evaluate the clients needs and recommend in the selection of appropriate products, or<br />services and be able to negotiate prices<br />- Provide input into product development and meet client needs and objectives<br />- Implement sales strategies and proposals and illustrate benefits from the use of the<br />product or service<br />- Estimate cost of installing and maintaining equipment or service<br />- Prepare and administer sales contracts and maintain customer records<br />- Resolve customer complaints and provide ongoing support<br />- Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment<br />- Develop and maintain technical product or service knowledge to explain features to<br />clients and answer questions about goods or services<br />- Develop, implement and report on sales strategies to achieve business goals<br />- Assess market conditions and competitors; activities and develop an awareness of<br />emerging markets and trends</p><p><br /><strong>Requirements:</strong><br />- A university degree or college diploma in a program related to the product or service is<br />usually required.<br />- Experience in sales or in a technical occupation related to the product or service may be<br />required.<br />- Technical sales supervisors require experience as a technical sales specialists</p><p><br /><strong>How Connect6 Group values you:</strong><br />• Health Benefits, fully funded by Connect6, once past three months of employment<br />• Discounts on products and services depending on the program you work with<br />• We value your time in our office by creating a comfortable environment<br />Connect6 Group welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.</p></div>Company Description<div>Connect6 Group is an expanding marketing agency that works with some of Canada's most well known brands: Air Miles, Longo's, Cogeco, Hyundai and Canadian Tire.
