Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Investigate outbreaks of diseases and food poisoning. Provide information/training to employers, employees and general public. Establish and implement policies and procedures. Collect samples of materials for analysis. Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards. Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses. Manage training and development strategies. Oversee the analysis of employee data and information. Oversee development of communication strategies. Develop and implement health and safety plans. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Oversee the preparation of reports. Advise senior management. Respond to employee questions and complaints. Conduct performance reviews. Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury. Inspect products and processing methods; prepare reports and ensure that regulations governing health, quality and safety are followed. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
