Come join our Resource Conservation team in Nunavut!You will experience amazing arctic scenery, see wildlife and cultural history when traveling in the parks by boat, snowmobile or on foot, and depending on the season, by small plane or helicopter. As Resource Management Officer II, you will work as part of a small group collecting and recording data using various methods to monitor changes in the environment (eg. glacier monitoring, collecting water samples, marine or ecological monitoring, or measuring the depth of permafrost). You will also participate in multi-day park patrols to achieve operational work such as maintaining emergency caches, building maintenance, or assist in visitor safety response and evacuation during an emergency. You will be expected to lead a field crew in a remote camp for extended periods, providing leadership, logistics, support and guidance to less experienced staff. You may also welcome visitors, act as a bear guard or provide visitor safety.
