Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Family Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to our family lawyers, ensuring smooth operations within the firm. *Duties:* - Correspond with clients and receive incoming calls from prospective family clients - Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Perform clerical tasks such as filing (mostly paperless), data entry, and document preparation for Court - Assist in general management and coordination of lawyers' legal matters - Utilize Leap, Divorcemate or similar software for document management - Prepare and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness - Maintain professionalism in all communications and demonstrate excellent phone etiquette - Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Ability to write clearly and effectively for legal correspondence *Requirements:* - Proven experience as a Family Legal Assistant with a positive attitude and a team mentality - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively Our office is cheerful and all of the staff work cooperatively together.
