Overview: We are seeking a reliable and friendly Server to join our team at The Barrel & Bites. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. If you have a passion for food, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have exceptional customer service skills, we would love to hear from you. Duties: - Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently - Deliver orders to tables promptly and ensure accuracy - Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any customer inquiries - Assist with food preparation and handling as needed - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow - Process customer payments using the cash register or POS system - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area - Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy - Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional customer service Requirements: - Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Basic math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team We offer competitive pay rates, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
