Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Direct and control daily operations . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff. Plan and control budget and inventory. Manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies. Hire, train and supervise staff. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Supervision: 5-10 people. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.- LocationKelowna, BC
