We are currently looking for a team-oriented full-time *Maintenance Millwright* to join our team.
*Job Summary:*
Reporting to the Maintenance Lead Hand, the Maintenance Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
*The responsibilities for the Maintenance Millwright will include:*
* Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
* Install, align, disassemble, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
* Operate hoist and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and forklifts, to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up, and repair processes.
* Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions.
* Install and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls.
* Clean, lubricate, and perform routine preventative maintenance work on machinery.
* Daily inspections and completion of the associated documentation.
* Maintain proper schedules and quality standards.
*Education, Skills and Job Requirements:*
* Certified Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or currently working towards obtaining.
* Minimum 4 years related experience.
* Interest in building and repairing a variety of mechanical systems.
* Knowledge of computerized machinery.
* Physical strength and stamina.
* Ability to get along well with co-workers.
* Must be available for day and afternoon shifts, as well as extended hours and overtime as necessary.
