*Job Description* The Primary Care Medical Office Assistant supports the delivery of primary care services in the family practice setting. *Position Qualifications:* * Medical Office Assistant / Medical Terminology course required * Two years of medical office experience preferred * Ability to collaborate with other multi-disciplinary team members (MOAs, RN, LPN, Nurse Practitioner, Family Physicians, Allied Health consultants) * Experience with an electronic medical record with preference given to those who have worked with Telus MedAccess * Proficiency in the use of a computer & office equipment * Above average communication skills, both verbal & written * Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills * Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality * Good prioritization skills * Ability to work independently * Current CPR certificate preferred. Job Type: Part-time Expected hours: 22.50 per week Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationLethbridge, AB
