We are looking to hire a Social Media Manager to join our team and continue to build our growing online presence. We are seeking a passionate storyteller, a strategic thinker, and a highly skilled communicator with a proven track record of growing and managing social channels.
You will be responsible for creating, planning, and presenting all social media content and campaigns for our five salon locations. Designing campaigns in collaboration with our stylists to deliver the most popular trends in hair and social media. To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for fashion, and the ability to work in dynamic team environments as well as independently. Please note that due to the nature of this position some remote work is available, however, a successful applicant will be required to travel to our locations on a weekly basis. For that reason, only applicants who currently reside in the Lower Mainland will be contacted.
What You Will Do:
* Own and schedule content that lives across Suki?s social channels, including website design
* Develop the social strategy for Suki?s and continue to evolve the brand
* Constantly seek out new and innovative opportunities across social channels
* Establish positive relationships with Suki?s staff across all locations
* Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop relevant and modern content
* Liaison with influencers to schedule appointments, track and repost content
* Actively reply to posts and messages across all social channels fostering a positive relationship with our community
* Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to drive social media engagement, salon and eCommerce revenue
* Act as a resource to internal staff for inquiries related to social channels
* Work with our Ecommerce Manager to develop and design campaigns to generate online sales
* Provide monthly reports on social metrics, growth, and budgets
* Organize photoshoot, video shoots, and strategic campaigns
* Event/brand marketing
What You Should Have:
* 1-3 years experience managing social media channels, campaigns, and initiatives
* Social Media or Marketing Communications certificate or diploma preferred
* Experience working on channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, etc.
* Experience with platforms like Later, MailChimp, Squarespace,
* Google Analytics etc.
* Understanding of basic photography and photo editing
* Familiarity with front-end web design
* Passion for the fashion industry
* High-level communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
