<p><span><b>Position Title: Site Electrician III</b></span></p><p><span><b>Reports to: Facility & Utilities Maintenance Manager</b></span></p><p><span><b>Position Summary:</b></span></p><p><span>The Electrician is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on all industrial electrical systems at the GCT site.</span></p><p><span><b>Primary responsibilities for role</b></span></p><p><span>This position level requires proficiency in most areas of responsibility:</span></p><ul><li><span>Perform preventive, predictive & thermographic maintenance on industrial electrical systems, perform work on low & high voltage, power & distribution, UPS, SAG fighters, VFD, MCC, construction project, emergency power and life safety systems.</span></li><li><span>Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on all electrical systems and equipment.</span></li><li><span>Knowledgeable in arc flash.</span></li><li><span>Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&ID, drawings and manufacturer manuals.</span></li><li><span>Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System to document work performed.</span></li><li><span>Adhere to cGMP, Safety, and Environmental procedures.</span></li><li><span>Follow Standard Operating Procedures, job plans and or equipment manuals to perform work.</span></li><li><span>Assist with modification, installation, and start-up of new and existing equipment.</span></li><li><span>Responsible for maintaining training curriculum requirements and trains other technicians in areas of proficiency as needed.</span></li></ul><p><span><b>Additional Responsibilities: Site Electrician III</b></span></p><ul><li><span>Develop knowledge and skills needed to perform job as required by the areas of responsibility</span></li><li><span>Perform electrical construction work.</span></li><li><span>Maintains and troubleshoots PLC, VFD & MCC.</span></li><li><span>Maintains and troubleshoots electrical equipment of all voltages.</span></li></ul><p><span><b>Qualification and experience</b></span></p><ul><li><span>DEC in a technical field or DEP with minimum of 6 years relevant work experiences and skills.</span></li><li><span>Valid license C and/or A2 license.</span></li><li><span>Must be familiar with power & distribution systems and PLC.</span></li><li><span>Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the slated requirements.</span></li></ul><p><span><b>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required</b></span></p><ul><li><span>Familiar with all regulations associated with his field, building & electrical code</span></li><li><span>Possess strong electrical ability and troubleshooting skills.</span></li><li><span>Must have good mechanical, electrical and automation competencies</span></li><li><span>Working knowledge of building automation systems</span></li><li><span>Must be able to work with little supervision in a multitask environment.</span></li><li><span>Should be proactive and results-oriented with strong attention to detail and able to complete work in a timely manner.</span></li><li><span>Must be a team player, capable of communicating professionally with all levels of personnel.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to work on shifts, long hours, shutdowns, be on call as deemed necessary by the manager.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, written and verbal form, in both French and English.</span></li><li><span>Build positive working relationships with cross-functional teams across multiple business units.</span></li><li><span>Use personal computers and have experience with Window applications and Web-based programs.</span></li><li><span>Understand current Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.</span></li><li><span>Understand industrial plant safety and environment requirements.to maintenance work.</span></li><li><span>Ability to think logically and be able to break down a job into components or tasks.</span
