Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads. Project cash flow and financing requirements. Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms. Advise on tendering procedures. Monitor and adjust contract expenditures. Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Computer and technology knowledge: Estimating packages. MS Project. MS Excel. MS Word. MS PowerPoint.
