Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Room and board provided. Hotel, motel, resort. Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants. Supervise other workers. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Book appointments. Answer clients' inquiries and provide information. Equipment: Power tools. Power lawn mowers. Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments). Snowblower. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Personal suitability: Dependability.
