<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insolvency Technician to support our Insolvency Advisors in managing insolvency cases. As an Insolvency Technician, you will play a vital role in preparing documents, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our practice. You will work closely with clients, guiding them through bankruptcy and consumer proposal processes.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist insolvency advisors in the daily management of files, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.</li><li>Prepare necessary documents for bankruptcy and consumer proposal files, adhering to regulatory requirements and internal procedures.</li><li>Organize and manage customer appointments, coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders to schedule meetings.</li><li>Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone calls and emails, providing clear and accurate information.</li><li>Provide general administrative support to the practice, including data entry, filing, and document management.</li><li>Ensure thorough follow-up of files and maintain accurate records in our information management systems.</li><li>Collect and verify customer information, ensuring all relevant details are accurately documented.</li><li>Utilize specialized insolvency IT systems to manage and update case files effectively.</li><li>Administer assets, income, and creditor claims throughout the duration of the file, maintaining detailed records and facilitating communication with relevant parties.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma of college studies (DEC) in administrative techniques or relevant field.</li><li>Recent work experience in a licensed insolvency trustee office, law office, notary office, or accountant office.</li><li>Strong clerical and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.</li><li>Rigor, willingness to learn, ability to work under pressure, and a positive attitude.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and general computer science skills.</li><li>Knowledge of bankruptcy laws and consumer proposals is an asset.</li><li>Good command of English is an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>Advantages:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Group insurance plan</li><li>Dynamic and collaborative work environment</li><li>3 weeks vacation</li><li>Possibility of hybrid work mode (2 days teleworking per week) after 6 months on the job</li><li>Flexible scheduling to accommodate employees' personal obligations</li><li>Opportunities for advancement in a rapidly growing company</li></ul>
