Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educational Assistant to join our team. As an Educational Assistant, you will provide support to teachers and students in a classroom setting. Your role will involve assisting with educational activities, promoting a positive learning environment, and ensuring the well-being of students. Responsibilities: - Assist teachers in implementing educational programs and lesson plans - Support students with their learning activities and assignments - Provide one-on-one assistance to students who require additional support - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs - Assist in managing classroom behavior and maintaining discipline - Help prepare materials and resources for lessons - Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Experience working with children in an educational setting - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Familiarity with special education techniques and strategies - Ability to educate and engage students effectively - Proficiency in classroom management techniques - Strong math skills for assisting students with numerical concepts - Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
