Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems. Perform scheduled maintenance service. Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Reliability. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers .
