Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Organic farming. Outdoors. Dusty. All weather conditions. Work setting: Staff accommodation provided. Rural area. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Apply fertilizers. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Cut agricultural crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Hand harvesting vegetables. Harvest seedlings. Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes. Mixing fertilizer. Pack fruits and vegetables. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Seed cutting. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Write daily basic progress reports. Clean work area. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
