We are searching for Senior Project Manager/Program Manager, Professional Services to join our Professional Services team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented and growing team that is committed to providing service excellence, and is passionate about being part of something bigger. Join our team!What You Will Do: Lead client technical/business solutions projects and initiatives, either as part of an IMP Solutions team or assigned to client-directed work.Lead and/or assists with the development of Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and assist sales team in business development activitiesDevelop project scope-of-work documents and project plans that include an analysis of benefits, costs, work schedule, project resource requirements and related risksWork with technical SMEs to devise approach and manages the system development/implementation processAssign, schedules, reviews, and monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected quality guidelines, planned schedule and planned budgetIdentify, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues/risks, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of IT projectsMentor and provides expertise to other project team members, as well as manage third party vendors, as needed on behalf of the ClientMaintain effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members. Prepare and present oral and/or written technical reports and project presentationsAdopt and utilizes our clients' methodologies or brings IMP Solutions' methods and best practices to assignments through deep experience of industry tools and techniquesWhat We Offer You: Comprehensive health and dental benefitsRRSP contribution matchingProfessional development and training opportunitiesWhat You Need to Succeed: University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Sciences or approved equivalent combination of education and experience8+ years in IT, including large scale project/program management experience in a consulting capacity.
