Carlsberg Canada recently purchased Waterloo Brewing Ltd. so Carlsberg Canada includes the production, distribution and commercialization of Carlsberg and Waterloo products as well as various co-manufacturing partnerships.
*Role Summary*
The FP&A will work closely with all aspects of our business, with a focus on forecasts, budget and management reporting. This role is based out of our Waterloo Brewery in Kitchener with occasional travel to the Oakville office.
Hybrid: 3 days in the office/ 2 days from home.
*Accountabilities:*
* Preparation of the Monthly Performance Report.
* Management of Budget and Forecast Processes & Deliverables.
* Financial support to the People & Culture team.
* Preparation of weekly Management Dashboards including high-level insights.
* Preparation of Management presentation of monthly financial results and present to Management team in conjunction with Shared Services Controller.
* Preparation and review of monthly Capital Asset Reporting
* Review of budget and forecast variances and determine root cause(s).
* Provide recommendations for process and workflow improvements as well as innovative and creative new ideas, including the development of analysis tools.
* Complete required reporting to external agencies and partners.
* Assist with ad-hoc projects as required and other duties as assigned.
* Support the month end close process, including the loading of data to Hyperion Financial Management

*Qualifications:*
* University/College degree, as well as a professional accounting designation, CPA-CMA, CPA-CA, CPA-CGA
* 7+ years? industry experience, preferably 3+ years in a FP&A role
* Strong accounting knowledge and ability to research complex accounting issues in accordance with IFRS.
* Intermediate to expert knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
* Experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods manufacturing environment (ideally within Food and Beverage) is an asset.
* Hands-on experience with accounting databases and ERP systems (MS Business Central)
