Duties are to commence August 26, 2024 and will end June 27, 2025.<p>Qualifications: <p> Permanent Alberta Teacher Certification<p> Willingness to work collaboratively as a<p> member of a professional learning community<p> The ability to work effectively with<p> diverse students and parent groups<p> Strong evidence of instructional leadership<p> Previous Principal and/or Associate Principal experience is preferred<p> Individuals must have a Master of Education<p> degree or a plan to pursue their Master of Education degree<p> Meets the Alberta Leadership Quality<p> StandardThe Successful Candidate<p>will: Have a student first focus and a belief<p> that all children can learn and succeed<p> Have a proven effective teaching and/or<p> lead teacher experience<p> Have the ability to provide effective leadership that demonstrates adaptability and fosters innovation, collaboration, respect and trust in times of change Establish a safe and caring environment<p> Communicate a clear and focused mission<p> that is shared and inspiring<p> Establish a climate of high expectations<p> for success<p> Be committed to inclusive practices that celebrate diversity, and with foundational knowledge, skills and abilities to support FNMI students and families to lead educational change for meaningful reconciliation Lead effective school-based practices to<p> facilitate continuous improvement in literacy and numeracy<p> Commit to effective staff supervision and evaluation practices Be comfortable with timetabling and<p> scheduling<p> Have proven financial planning and business management skills Be able to maintain and create positive<p> home-school relations<p> Be a team player and a contributing<p> member of the Superintendents educational team<p> Be able to motivate and inspire others<p> Promote and use technology as a teaching<p> tool<p> Contribute to the school and community<p&
