We are a family practice in Grande Prairie, Alberta with 35+ years serving the community and surrounding area. Our dental family has the most amazing long term staff and multi-generational patient base. The associate dentist will be starting with a full patient base, working out of 2-3 dental chairs with 2 hygiene columns. Experience with a Solea laser is a plus but not necessary. This job posting could have a Spring start date, or could be as late as September. I do have a dentist retiring as of October, so we will need to transition the patient base prior to then. Compensation is commission based at 40%. I would consider a yearly salary option for the right candidate. Responsibilities: - Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, invisalign, dental implants and crowns - Conduct routine dental examinations and provide appropriate treatment plans - Educate patients on oral health and preventive care practices - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software system (ClearDent) - Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient work-flow Requirements: - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Active Alberta dental license, and in good standing - Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is a plus Our focus is on finding the right fit for our team.
