They support the sales team by conducting technical reviews, product trials and providing consultative services to customers, distributors, and prospects. They also provide both technical analysis, process analysis, and recommendations where appropriate.<strong></strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><br><br>Job Placement</strong></span><br>This position involves approximately 50% to 60% travel to customer sites in the province of Quebec. The ideal Candidate would live in the Quebec City area. In this commercial role, the job holder will work remotely from a specified territory and are not required to report to a designated AkzoNobel site. The successful candidate will help support all of Quebec<br><br><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></span><br>Assist customers on best coating and painting application practices.<br>Generate and maintain accurate records and applications reports of company products. This includes day to day environmental conditions as well as surface preparation and relevant coating <br>Job Placement<br>This position involves approximately 50% travel to customer sites in Quebec Canada. The ideal Candidate would live in Quebec City.<br><br><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Level of autonomy (decision making and independent judgement)</strong></span> <br>This is a role that requires the job holder to make all day-to-day decisions independently. The job holder will be advising customers on the use of AkzoNobel brands. The TSR helps the customer, achieves expected results on time, Understands the need to learn and keep abreast of technology, is open to new ideas and fulfills the responsibilities of the job independently and professionally with the support of the team when needed. Their input helps AkzoNobel?s decision to move forward with a new product or brand launch in the market. <br> <ul><li>Knows coating application, techniques, and parameters for Marine Coatings (3 to 5 years preferred)</li><li>Bilingualism French & English; Read, Spoken and Written</li><li>AMPP, NACE II, Frosio Inspector III or equivalent</li><li>Must have previous experience working in a Shipyard.</li><li>Good computer skills, well versed in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and is computer litterate enough to navigate user friendly web-based programs.</li><li>Approximately 50-60% travel required. Must be able to travel to the USA if required.</li><li>Must be able to pass Security Clearance per the Canadian government?s "Controlled Goods Program Security Assessment"</li></ul>
