Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Professionalism in customer service. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Type of trucking and equipment: Dry bulk. Refrigerated. Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Bondable. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Overtime required. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Judgement.
