Position Summary:Mindfield is looking for passionate and active individuals to become advisor leads on our team. If you love sports and living an active lifestyle, this role is for you. Your job will be to provide excellent customer service and help keep things running smoothly. You'll also work with the store management to oversee shift operations in your area and around the store when needed. This position is perfect for those who enjoy leading and are looking for more customer service experience. Key Responsibilities:Deliver exceptional customer service by adopting the Five Star Solution customer service model.Exhibit active selling behaviors and techniques, mentoring department team members to enhance their sales capabilities.Oversee daily operational tasks and maintenance within the department ? including visual merchandising, pricing/promotions, and store cleanliness.Provide leadership and support to part-time team members, ensuring the execution of tasks and adherence to store standards.Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation, showcasing the best in sporting goods apparel and hard goods.Engage with customers to share your passion, knowledge, and dedication to sports.Promote company programs, Triangle loyalty, and other customer acquisition initiatives.Facilitate the onboarding and training of department advisors in product knowledge and selling skills.Skills Required:Advanced customer service skills.Proficient in sales and operational task management.Effective training and mentoring abilities.Strong organizational and planning skills.Computer literacy.Physical capability for lifting and store maintenance activities.Ideal Candidate:Passionate about sports and maintains an active lifestyle.Has at least 6+ months of experience in a retail environment and informal leadership roles.Demonstrates high levels of departmental product knowledge.Proven ability to manage daily department and store plans.Experience in training and mentoring employees.Computer literate with a high school education.Capable of lifting at least 25 lbs and comfortable with physical activities related to store maintenance.Must be 18 or older and able to successfully complete a criminal background check for key access.Compensation & Benefits:Hourly wage of $17.75 and up reflective of your experience.Eligibility for an annual sales bonus post-year-end based on store performance.Annual shrink bonus, employee-paid benefit program, and employee discounts.Comprehensive training provided in various formats.A fun and fast-paced work environment.About Mindfield: Our purpose is to help great people find jobs they love with employers who care.
