<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.</li><li>Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.</li><li>Ensure all team members have read and understood project objectives, including project <span class="long-word">specifications/agreements</span> and head contract requirements.</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.</li><li>Effectively communicate project status, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.</li><li>Analyze and mitigate project risks and challenges.</li><li>Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.</li><li>Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety Acts / Construction Safety Act regulations applicable to the Province where the project is being executed.</li><li>Responsible for all financial requirements of the project, including revenue forecasting, billing, and approval of payments.</li><li>Mentor and inform all subordinates of processes and procedures.</li><li>Ensure total completion of the project, contractually and financially.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p><strong>Certified Engineering Technologist (required) and/ or Professional Engineer (required)</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (P.Eng considered asset)</li><li>10+ years experience in a construction company</li><li>Proven track record of successful project management of significant building and public infrastructure <span class="long-word">restoration/renewal</span> construction projects up to $20 million.</li><li>Deep expertise and a proven track record concerning the continuous improvement of project delivery services and value-added constructability processes and practices.</li><li>Ability to use MS Word, Excel, & Outlook, MS Project, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam.</li><li>Ability to inspire trust in difficult situations by instilling confidence and engaging people on matters that affect them.</li><li>Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive industry partner relationships.</li><li>Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them.</li><li>Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, presentation and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Superior written and verbal communication skills at multiple levels: client/owner representative, construction site.</li><li>Possess a valid drivers license</li><li>First Aid skills and/or certificates are considered assets.</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Brook is a general contractor that restores and renews buildings and public infrastructure.
