We are looking for a <strong>service technician</strong> for our repair center in Montreal (Anjou). You are a <strong>dynamic</strong> individual interested in learning new technology. Chesterton is a leading international <strong>manufacturer</strong> of industrial fluid sealing systems, high performance protective coatings and specialized industrial maintenance products is seeking a new technician for its Montreal mechanical seal repair center.<br><br>As a service technician, you will work under the supervision of our Eastern Canada Service Center Director.<br><br><strong>Your mandate will be, among other things:</strong><strong><br></strong><ul><li>Perform various repair or re-work tasks in accordance with detailed work instructions and engineering standards of our mechanical seals. You must be able to read and understand instructions and follow a clearly written and described sequence of instructions.</li><li>Set up and operate simple machines, i.e. air blasters and polishing tools.</li><li>Use various hand and power tools, i.e. drill press.</li><li>Perform simple in-process quality control functions based on established engineering standards.</li><li>Operate a CNC for cutting gaskets.</li><li>Apply ceramic coatings to small industrial parts.</li><li>Perform tasks for modifying pumps</li><li>May carry out work tasks with instructions, if necessary.</li><li>Perform other manufacturing floor functions, including shipping and receiving products for the repair center.</li><li>Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.<strong><br></strong></li></ul><br><strong>A.W.
