*Foundation Administrator* *Victoria (Brentwood Bay)* The First Peoples? Cultural Foundation Administrator ensures the smooth day to day operation of the organization. Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of the Executive Director, the Board, and staff. If you are an administrative professional and are passionate about amplifying the values of First Peoples? Cultural Foundation, we look forward to hearing from you. Nation people, in the village of W?JO?E?P. * We provide a collaborative work environment guided by Indigenous values of: Indigenous leadership, Knowledge, Resilience, Helping one another, Responsibility and Cultural continuity * We value your work-life balance and family/community timeDental, extended health and vision care for you and your family through Canada Life * Defined benefit pension plan * 3 weeks? vacation allowance * Additional statutory holidays, including National Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21st) and Truth & Reconciliation Day (September 30th) * Training and professional development opportunities to grow your career and skills * Travel opportunities to conferences and community events * Salary $65,000. *What You Will Do:* *Operations and Information Flow* * Be the first point of contact for general enquires by phone and email and refer to appropriate staff member. * Maintain records of the Foundation in an organized way and ensures appropriate security and accessibility, retention, and destruction schedules. * Collaborate and liaise with Information Management Information Technology and Finance service providers to ensure operational needs are met. * Provide administrative support to staff including organizing meetings, booking travel, and conference / event registration. * Develop and implement administrative processes to support the effective day to day operation of the organization. * Monitor supplies, such as stationery and orders office supplies and swag from suppliers as required. * Maintain inventory of organizational assets such as computers, printers, phones etc. *Executive and Board Support * * Receive and screen communications to the Executive Director and the Board, including telephone calls and e-mail messages, and exercises independent judgment to prioritize. * Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents, including financial, investment and audit reports, as directed by the Executive Director and prepares background documents as required. * Draft correspondence, make travel arrangements for the Executive and Board; maintain appointment schedules and calendars for the Executive Director and the Board; arranges meetings and conferences, maximizing impact while ensuing value for services purchased. * Develop and maintain organizational and board calendars.
