Kingsway Academy is fast developed private boarding high school, located on the campus of King's University College at Western University. Kingsway Academy recruit and educate international students mainly from Asian countries. Students are benefit from university environment and high qualify of education we provided. We currently looking for a High School Principal to lead the school growing.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and dynamic individual to join our team as the High School Principal. As the educational leader of our high school, the successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a passion for student success, and a commitment to fostering a positive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership in the development and implementation of educational programs and initiatives that align with the school's mission and vision.
Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes equity, diversity, and student well-being.
Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and professional development of teaching and administrative staff, ensuring a high standard of instructional excellence.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, students, and parents to create a supportive learning community that values collaboration and communication.
Implement effective systems for student assessment, evaluation, and academic support to ensure all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the high school, including budgeting, scheduling, and facilities management.
Serve as the primary liaison between the school and the broader community, building strong partnerships and promoting positive relationships.
Uphold and enforce school policies, procedures, and regulations in accordance with provincial and board requirements.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education or a related field.
Ontario Principal's Certificate or eligibility for certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably at the high school level.
Strong understanding of Ontario curriculum standards and educational best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of educators to achieve shared goals.
Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
Sound decision-making abilities and effective problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into teaching and learning.
