As an *SEO Specialist*, you will play an integral role in optimizing our online presence to improve search engine visibility and drive organic traffic. You will utilize your technical expertise in SEO and SEM to analyze, strategize, and execute initiatives aimed at enhancing our digital footprint across various search engines. Your primary focus will be on technical SEO aspects such as website structure, code optimization, and performance improvements to ensure maximum search engine visibility and user experience for our website and accompanying university landing pages.
*Responsibilities*, include but are not limited to:
*Technical SEO Analysis (weekly and monthly)*
· Conduct in-depth technical audits of website and landing pages to identify SEO issues and opportunities.
· Analyze website architecture, URL structure, indexing, and crawlability to ensure optimal performance.
· Evaluate site speed, mobile-friendliness, and other technical factors affecting search engine rankings.
*SEO Strategy Development*
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, web tech, SEM, technology) to develop comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business objectives.
· Provide technical recommendations and best practices for website optimization and content development.
· Stay updated with industry trends and algorithm changes to adapt SEO strategies accordingly.
*Keyword Research and Analysis*
· Conduct keyword research to identify high-potential keywords and search queries.
· Analyze keyword competition and search volume to inform content optimization strategies.
· Make recommendations for website content optimization, meta tags, and on-page elements based on keyword insights.
*SEO Performance Reporting*
· Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using SEO tools and platforms. Generate regular reports on SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic and keyword rankings.
· Identify technical SEO issues and provide direction on recommended changes.
· Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis.
· Communicate effectively and regularly with Marketing to convey the impact of SEO initiatives on business goals.
*Minimum Qualifications*:
*Education and Experience*
· Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
· At least 5 years of proven experience as a Technical SEO Specialist or similar role.
· In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
· Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Knowledgeable about the latest trends and best practices in SEO and digital marketing.
