Your ContributionEnglobe is looking or for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work out of the Dartmouth office! As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead and work in collaboration with the Electrical team. The candidate will be part of an electrical design team where he/she will be expected to lead design teams and work independently with attention to detail on projects of varying size and complexity for buildings and infrastructure in commercial, institutional health care, municipal, and industrial applications, including overall project management with design of low/medium voltage power distribution, lighting, motor control, fire alarm, communications and security systems. Lead Electrical design and project management of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, communications, security, etc. for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. Dealing with Clients, contractors and suppliers in the positive promotion of the firm. Actively participates in all projects, providing guidance, client input/feedback, and general direction to the electrical team Working with the design team on the project, develops and monitors electrical design strategies for building construction to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery Successfully develops relationships with clients, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel Manages client relationships and project service delivery, actively participating in the entire project life cycle, from preliminary services through project implementation, and warranty Meet with clients regarding projects, progress reporting, and the resolution of issues, as required Coordinates the preparation of engineering specifications and drawings, quantity and cost estimates Responsible for ensuring the electrical drawings and specifications meet established project criteria and applicable standards Develops standards related to our electrical engineering practice, ensuring best practices for project management and delivery Preparation of reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, project plans, and other supporting
