Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning
  • Tree removal
  • Supervise crew members
  • Prune trees
  • Operate chainsaw to fell, delimb and buck trees
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 

  • International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification
  • Arboriculturists Trade Certification
