Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations. Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AZ class license. Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Bill of lading. Dangerous goods occurrence reports. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Trans-border documentation. Trip reports. Transportation/travel experience: Long-haul. Short-haul. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.- LocationEdmonton, AB
