Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools. Instruct apprentices. Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods.
