*Job Summary*
The Maintenance Coordinator is an integral part of the maintenance team by ensuring the preventative maintenance program is managed and maintained effectively, including procuring and scheduling of maintenance activities necessary to ensure production remain at optimal levels.
*Essential Job Tasks*
· Manage the preventative maintenance program and ensure that all activities are scheduled, tracked and communicated clearly.
· Coordinate and assign work orders to the maintenance team and update the database in a timely manner.
· Collaborate with production scheduling to ensure optimal times are booked prior to commencing maintenance activities.
· Ensure inventory is kept accurate by conducting cycle counts on time and procuring parts as needed.
· Assist in vendor selection and price negotiation.
· Assist in continuous improvement projects.
· Design and analyse data tracking reports, including effectively communicating findings to management and offering suggestions for improvement.
· Assume the position of direct contact for third-party vendors, schedule and track all service activity.
*Required Qualifications*
· 3-5 years? experience as a Maintenance Coordinator within a manufacturing environment.
· Minimum 2 years? experience in a food manufacturing facility strongly preferred.
· Must have a valid driver?s license.
· Previous PM system experience, including the ability to make enhancements and implement changes as needed.
· Strong inventory and procurement knowledge.
· Ability to create reports and evaluate data.
. Prior experience working with a CMMS (highly preferred)
. Proficient in MS office (excel, word).
· Superior time management and organization skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and external vendors.
· Keen desire to drive continuous improvement.
· Possess mechanical aptitude.
