Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Confer with clients to identify requirements. Conduct business and technical studies. Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions. Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery. Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware. Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches. Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products. Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle. Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity. Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems. Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls. Plan, design, write, modify, integrate and test Web-site related code. Resolve conflict situations. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.
