Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Hot. Work setting: Landscape contractor. Various locations. Tasks: Assist with landscape constructions. Weed, prune and trim trees and plants. Cart and spread topsoil and other materials. Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees. Repair and maintain equipment. Write daily basic progress reports. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment. Manage landscaping projects. Plant and move trees. Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios and other landscape structures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Not required. Type of related experience: Landscape construction. Construction specialization: Stone garden walls. Retaining walls.
