Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Medical clinic. Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Help with scheduling and workflow. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Maintain prescription records and inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate, enter client information in databases and prepare medications for clients. Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation. Maintain supplies. Schedule and confirm appointments. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Ability to distinguish between colours. Standing for extended periods. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.- LocationSurrey, BC
