Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Assist in demolishing buildings. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Equipment and machinery experience: Bobcats. Curbing machine. Concrete vibrators. Circular saws. Concrete saws. Chippers. Jackhammers. Air compressors. Construction specialization: Driveways. Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Roads and bridges. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel regularly. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads.
