Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions. Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families. Conduct disease screening. Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff. Perform administrative tasks. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work. First Aid Certificate.
